Their aftermarket solutions are comprehensive and cover all Parsons Peebles legacy machines as well as third party brands.
The business ownership sits with Clyde Blowers Capital, an independent industrial investment firm, typically serving the power, oil & gas, renewables, water, mining & minerals and general industrial sectors, giving them a much wider reach into specialist equipment companies ensuring the best service.
Parsons Peebles have a fleet of vans and cars too across the business units that need to be processed under P11d legislation. Until recently, this process was completed manually but Payroll Analyst Shazia Kouser and the IT team at Bristol decided to see if Sage P11d could take on this growing task.
Sage P11D Training workshop
As Parsons Peebles have an industry specific Accounting and Payroll system, Sage 50 Payroll is not used so the easy import of employee record data was unfortunately not an option. Nonetheless, thanks to the workshop provided by Sage Accounts Training, Shazia was able to input the employee record data manually with information taken from their Fleet Management system together with the vehicle and other benefits in kind data. Time consuming as this was in year one, regular on-going updating of Sage P11d with new starters and leavers, change of company vehicle and periodical rises in medical insurance benefit means that in year two, Parsons Peebles will be able to easily generate the P11d form and covering letter using the integral mail merge and letter template function, email them directly to the employees, create their Employer’s P11d(b) declaration form and submit them all directly from Sage P11d.
Sage P11d is a perpetual licence solution so needs to be updated each tax year with the new legislation tables.
